about

Bellevue Floral Co. is a boutique floral design + event styling studio with a home base in both Napa + San Francisco (we travel too!). Flowers are our love language and a medium with which we use to express emotions and celebrate meaningful life moments. In our studio, we harmonize rooted principles of floristry with a modern day aesthetic that is both natural and playful.

While being surrounded by flowers everyday is an absolute dream, one of the most meaningful parts of our business is getting to know our clients and helping them to tell a story through flowers. We look forward to connecting with you soon!

Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky tacky,

Little boxes on the hillside,

Little boxes all the same.
There's a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one,
And they're all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

Lyrics from "Little Boxes" by Malvina Reynolds, written in 1962 about the new suburban housing developments

in Daly City, California.

what's in a name?

In the hills outlying San Francisco, there is a neighborhood iconic for its "ticky tacky" boxes on the hillside. In one such pink box on Bellevue Avenue, owner Christina Yan grew up. Her childhood was enveloped in nature and the arts, hence it was only fitting to make an ode to the street on which these passions were nurtured. Bellevue also translates to "beautiful view" in French - the perfect moniker for a business that brings so much color and beauty into the world.

owner, principal designer

The owner of two distinct floral businesses, Christina has been a mover and shaker in the design industry for several years. Particularly known for her playful floristry style and knack for blending unique colors and textures, Christina's design philosophy is rooted in much more than just traditional floral technique. As a self-taught florist, Christina lends her style to her years prior as an artist of other mediums. From having spent time as a wedding gown designer to creating window displays for Anthropologie, Christina is excited to share her unique perspective on how to think outside of the box when designing with flowers.

Born in San Francisco and raised in the Peninsula, Christina now resides in Napa with her dog (and local celebrity!) Tulip aka 'Tuli'. Christina received her education in the areas of Communication, Art Studio, and Tech Entrepreneurship at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She served as the Branding Director of a corporate food service contractor prior to starting her own business as a culinary brand consultant and food stylist + photographer.

In 2015, she found herself unexpectedly at the San Francisco Flower Market and came to the epiphany that although food and photography would be lifelong passions, flowers might be her actual calling. By 2016, she set out to educate herself on all things flowers - scouring YouTube for tutorials and developing her own techniques through trial and error. With determination, Christina quickly paved herself a life immersed in blooms. The rest is history!

You may also recognize Christina from the premier season of Full Bloom, a floral competition reality series on HBO Max. Fun fact - she was scouted via Instagram by producers!

mei

It's all in the family!

Christina's mom Mei is our frequent sidekick, assisting with all aspects of our business from floral prep in the studio to staging centerpieces on your big day and keeping our team hydrated and fed.

We wouldn't be who we are without her!

Meet Tulip, also known as 'Tuli', the sassy and lovable Husky Malamute mix who rules the floral kingdom alongside her human, Christina. This furry diva spends her days at the shop, making deliveries and accompanying Christina on early mornings to the flower market.

Tuli's stubborn streak adds an extra dose of character to her vibrant personality. But don't let her sass fool you – she's a sucker for a good belly rub and will do anything for a pig's ear treat.

Whether she's on floral delivery duty or charming visitors with her adorable antics, Tuli is the true heart and soul of Bellevue and Camino. Her irresistible charm and love for all things petting make her the perfect floral ambassador. Next time you're in the shop, be sure to say hello to Tuli! She's always ready to brighten your day with her furry presence and infectious joy.
